Hawzah News Agency- In a statement released on Monday, Ayatollah Najafi offered his condolences to Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), the Islamic seminaries, scholars and all believers, particularly the late cleric's honorable family, students and admirers.

In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I received with utmost sorrow and grief the news of the passing of the great scholar, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mousa Shobeiri Zanjani, after a blessed life filled with scholarly giving, service to religion and the faith, training scholars and clerics, and enriching the seminary and believers with knowledge and understanding.
The departure of a great scholar who spent years of his life in service to the Sharia of his ancestor Hazrat Mustafa (peace be upon him and his family) and the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) is a painful loss for the Islamic seminary and all believers, leaving a deep void and impact in the hearts of those who knew his excellence, his students and his admirers.
On this painful occasion, I offer my warm condolences and sincere sympathy to the presence of our Master, the Supreme Guardian, the Master of the Age and Time (PBUH), and to the Islamic seminaries, eminent scholars and all believers, especially his honorable family, students and admirers.
I beseech the Glorious and Exalted God to envelop that blessed departed one in His vast mercy and pleasure, to gather him with Prophet Muhammad and his pure family (may God's blessings be upon them all), and to grant him the intercession of his grandmother, the truthful and pure Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her). Blessed be his departure to the vicinity of his pure ancestors.

Grand Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani, one of the most senior sources of emulation for Shia Muslims, passed away earlier this week, prompting an outpouring of condolences from religious and political leaders across the Islamic world.
The late cleric, born in the Iranian holy city of Qom in 1928, dedicated nearly his entire life to the study, teaching and advancement of Islamic jurisprudence, earning recognition among his peers as one of the foremost researchers of Shia Islam in the contemporary era.
Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, described him as a "meticulous and profound researcher" whose loss has created a gap among the foremost Shia researchers of the present age that may take a long time to fill.
Grand Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Amoli also paid tribute, saying the late cleric had spent a century in the service of the Quran, the Ahl al-Bayt and the guidance of the people.
Grand Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani was widely respected for his meticulous scholarship, his mastery of the various disciplines related to the deduction of religious rulings, and his humble, fatherly conduct toward seminary students and scholars. His classes were renowned as gatherings of deep inquiry and rigorous study.
